Dan is a partner in OurCrowd overseeing strategic initiatives.

Dan brings 20 years of experience in managing, marketing, launching new products and generating new business in both startup and Fortune-500 companies.

Prior to joining OurCrowd he served as managing director of London-based Piano Ventures, specializing in building and scaling tech companies. Prior to that, Dan served as VP business development at JoyTunes, the world leader in music education apps, and at mobility startup Telmap (acquired by Intel in 2011). He also served on various marketing leadership roles at EMC Corporation in the US and UK. 

A former tech journalist and avid musician, Dan has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from IDC Herzliya, and an MS and MBA from Columbia University.

Young Sohn is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur whose passion is building businesses and fostering emerging technologies that have a positive impact to transform lives. Mr. Sohn currently is Chairman of the Board of HARMAN and Senior Advisor to Samsung Electronics. Most recently, he served as Corporate President and Chief Strategy Officer of Samsung Electronics, where he led strategy for global innovation, investment, new business creation, and led the company’s $8 billion acquisition of HARMAN International.

Mr. Sohn was CEO of two successful Silicon Valley public companies and on the boards of Arm, Cymer (ASML), and others. Under his leadership, he took PLX Technologies, Synnex Technologies and Inphi public. He was also a seed investor in some of the industry’s most innovative companies including Berkeley Lights, Fungible, Graphcore, and Zoom.

Guy holds a B.A. in Computer Science and is a Zell Entrepreneurship Program graduate. Guy has an extensive technological background as a Software Engineer and Product Manager. Prior to Rewire, Guy worked at Microsoft as a Program Manager on the Cortana team and led multiple products.

Laly is a partner at OurCrowd and the head of the business development department. She and her team manage strategic relationships with hundreds of global corporations for OurCrowd and its 170+ portfolio companies, spanning all verticals and sectors. Before joining OurCrowd, she experienced the rollercoaster of being the CEO of a startup that created eco-friendly cardboard products. Laly has held a number of senior business development and strategy positions across multiple industries in both private and public companies. Laly began her career as a lawyer and enjoyed six years in the Upper-West side of New York, working on mergers & acquisitions and securities offerings at a leading firm. Laly served as a non-commissioned education officer in the IDF Officers’ School. She holds both a law degree and a philosophy degree from Tel-Aviv University (1997, magna cum laudae), and an MBA from the Nash Honors Program at Baruch College (2000). 

Rutie Adar has been heading Samsung’s Strategy and Innovation Center, Israel since 2013. She has been the main focal point for startups, mature companies and academia to explore potential collaborations with Samsung’s innovation platforms and some of these collaborations included Samsung Catalyst Fund investments.

Rutie has been working in the consumer semiconductors industry during the past 30 years. She started her career developing image processing and parallel processing algorithms. Rutie has held various managerial positions in marketing, strategy, planning and business development. She has B.S. and M.S. in mathematics
